Artillery Officer Candidate School
Fort Sill, Oklahoma
1941 to 1946 and 1951 to 1973

The Field Artillery Officer Candidate School at Fort Sill commissioned 26,011 second lieutenants from the initial opening on July 10, 1941 until the first inactivation of the School on December 12, 1946.

The school was re-activated on February 21, 1951 and graduated 23,031 more second lieutenants before closing on July 6, 1973.

This website is a work in progress and will serve as a virtual Artillery OCS Hall of Fame and Museum. It is collection of digital images, sound files, videos, historic documents and records of historical and cultural interest that can be accessed through social media. It is a supplement to the OCS exhibits and displays available to the public in the Artillery OCS Heritage Hall at Fort Sill, Oklahoma that was built in 2023.

We strive to make artilleryocshistory.org the "Go-To" source for accurate information about the history of Artillery OCS and the significant contributions of more than 49,000  graduates to the Defense of the Nation and the betterment of society.

The Website Navigation page and Find Your Way page will help you as we build the site.
This website is was created and is maintained by the Artillery OCS Heritage Society.
