Below (right): View of the OCS Area during WW II. The OCS area at Fort Sill eventually had more than 1500 hutments in the area located south and east of the Artillery Bowl. The first classes were billeted in pyramidal tents (below left) with wooden supporting frames on concrete slabs. Those tents were replaced by the 6-man tarpaper hutments during 1942 and used until December 1946.
