A September 9, 2025 message from Rob McCall (Engineer OCS 1969), President of the Army OCS Alumni Association Florida Chapter:
As we approach 9/11, I am reminded that many of today's OCS candidates (and some graduates) were not even born when that horrible day unfolded and led us to commence the Global War on Terror.
Even so, we must never forget the two active duty and one retired OCS graduates we lost on that day when hijacked aircraft slammed into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon.
Nor must we ever forget the other ten OCS graduates we have identified as killed in action during the Global War on Terror, which included operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Yemen, Libya and later, other countries.
Remembering the fallen preserves the OCS legacy of service and sacrifice and ensures they will always be honored. RIP our brothers:
